FOSTER CITY, CA — October 27, 2003 — Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that it has signed an agreement for Equinix to sublease Sprint's E|Solutions Internet Center in Santa Clara and acquire certain related assets. The 160,000 square foot data center, where Sprint currently hosts the web operations of some of the top names in the Internet, will become Equinix's 15th Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX®) center, expanding Equinix's global footprint to over 1.2 million square feet in five countries.
