BEDFORD, TX (February 26, 2003) - Most customers are satisfied or extremely satisfied with their relationship with C I Host, according to a survey that measured satisfaction in several areas, including providing customer service and the latest technology.
Customers gave C I Host an average rating of 5.2 on a six-point scale, in which "5" meant "satisfied," and "6" meant "extremely satisfied." C I Host sent the surveys to its 175,000 customers and 30,000 responded.
Customers were asked about their satisfaction level in the following
categories: overall experience, customer service, scalability; latest
technology, value, brand name, overall performance, Web site design services and billing support.
"Customer service has always been of utmost importance in every aspect of C I Host's business," said Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "Our survey findings demonstrate our success in this area, and we will continue to strive to be the best there is among the competition."
Across most of the Internet-related industry, complaints about poor or slow tech support and customer service are abundant. The situation has become so bad in some sectors that irate customers swap stories about how long they have spent on hold. This is particularly acute in high tech, Web-based companies where there is often little or no face-to-face contact.
For this reason, C I Host has made top quality customer service a priority since it was founded. An aggressive quality control program, monitored by Faulkner, provides immediate feedback on how well or how poorly divisions, departments or staff members are performing.
Steps are taken quickly to correct any problems. Each new development - from reseller programs to the technical side of administering a Web site - is made with the customer as the focus.
Such insistence on keeping the customer at the center of the business has been the foundation of C I Host's success in continuing to grow and maintaining one of the lowest churn rates in the industry.
"Our customers are our most important resource," Faulkner said. "From the first contact to daily maintenance of their Web site and growth of their business, we want our customers to feel that they are in safe hands and that we are there to help them in all their business endeavors."
The survey was performed by C I Host's customer service department and verified by an independent research firm. It measured C I Host's customer satisfaction and overall service quality for the C I Host fiscal year ending December 31, 2002.
