DENVER, Nov 12, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- InFlow, Inc., a leading provider of managed web hosting and outsourced IT services, announced today a complete set of business continuance solutions for companies with critical client server and web-based business systems.

By applying its hosting, data protection and 24x7 operational expertise, Inflow has created customizable services for businesses wanting to defend against unforeseen events that could produce monetary losses or systems failure. Disastrous events are categorized as those that bring business operations to a temporary or permanent halt due to unexpected occurrences or calamities.

"It is imperative that companies review the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of their business continuity plans, or they risk significant business process downtime and even survival," said Donna Scott, VP and research director with Gartner, Inc. "It is disconcerting to note that just 25 percent of large organizations have invested in a comprehensive business continuity planning program, despite such high risks."

"Inflow's reputation for preventing network outages and data loss has made us the provider of choice for ensuring business continuity," said Art Zeile, Inflow's CEO. "Customers can now utilize Inflow's resources, contingency planning and operations expertise to ensure they are prepared for any calamity."

Inflow offers three levels of industry-leading service offerings for system continuity planning:

Constant Availability (Hot) -
-- Fully redundant hot-site solutions that either distribute the
system load between geographically diverse sites or support
for "real-enough" time hot site recovery
-- Data protection mechanisms utilizing clustering technologies,
replication capabilities and data backup services
-- Where appropriate, global load balancing services to
distribute traffic for web-based applications real-time
between sites
-- Service offering includes provisions for systems recovery
procedures relating to data validation and network recovery,
and provisions for web-centric business systems and DNS
resilience

Continuous Operations (Warm) -

For customer applications requiring recovery within 24 hours of a failure occurring.

-- Stand-by architecture solutions to minimize downtime
associated with vendor quick-ship programs
-- Remote data replication and archiving services for rapid
systems recovery
-- Service offering includes provisions for systems recovery
procedures relating to data validation and network recovery,
and provisions for web-centric business systems and DNS
resilience

System Recovery (Cold) -

For customer applications requiring recovery within 48 hours of a failure occurring.

-- Inflow's professional system management team works with
customers to develop, document, maintain and execute system
recovery plans
-- Templates and procedures developed by Inflow are tailored for
the customers' needs and include recovery procedures,
architecture design requirements, physical migration plans and
hardware sourcing procedures

Workspace Recovery -

In addition to technology solutions, Inflow is also able to provide workspace recovery for a capacity of more than 400 workstations. Workspace recovery options offer 24x7 access to well-appointed office space furnished with desk space, chair, phone, Internet access and replacement PCs if required.
